Talkin' Audio Productions are proud to annouce the arrival of our second Mobile Stage and Roofing System. The 8m x 6m stage has been added to our inventory to provide a cost-effective solution for community based events. Purchased from Cairns proprietor, Danny Sales, the stage is available to all who are interested.

In other news, our AV Department now hosts the biggest projector outside of Brisbane. The Sanyo PLCXF45 is now available for hire. How bright are we talking? Try 10,000 ANSI LUMENS!

TALKIN' AUDIO ARE MOVING! 12/12/05

On Wednesday 11th January we will be reopening from our new, bigger premises, 22 Cottell St. Hyde Park. If you require services between the 28th December 2005 and 11th January 2006 please call our after hours number on 0407 174 474. This move is a wonderful occasion for us and we would like to thankyou for contributing to our enourmous success. The new location will enable us to satisfy our clients demand for a greater range of equipment and services and represents STAGE ONE of our development and expansion program. JIM BEAM NATIONAL CAMPUS BAND COMP 16/09/05

The Jim Beam National Campus Band Comp has a heritage spanning over 20 years and has seen the likes of Jebediah, Eskimo Joe, George and The Vines go through the ranks. This year, Townsville's JCU hosted the QLD State Finals. 1200 eager punters + 7 armed and dangerous bands = One hellava NIGHT! Talkin' Audio Productions proudly supplied the necessary audio, backline and lighting needed for a BATTLE of this calibre.

I SCREAM, YOU SCREAM... 07/07/05

Talkin' Audio Productions are expanding their inventory, in more ways than one. The Lab Gruppen fp3400 series has been decided upon as the prefered amp to drive the Touring Departments Aero Line Array system. Speaking of which, a further eight Aero cabinets will be arriving in August to compliment their current sixteen cab rig. The AV Department now offer a wider range of 42" plasmas and 40" LCDs, along with the latest DVD/Video combos. And yes we do DELIVER! The newest addition to Talkin' Audio's convoy - a Mitsubishi Express - has made it just that little bit easier for our drivers to zipp around town... and park!

FULL MOON PARTY 10 27/05/05

Another month, another full moon. Base Backpackers "Full Moon" parties are an event not to be missed. This month marks the tenth full moon party to be staged at the newly developed base. Talkin' Audio Productions is the proud supplier of all sound, lighting and DJ equipment for these events. This month's acts include Poxy Music, Tim Boffa and resident DJ, Christian Biko.

COME ON THE COWBOYS! 19/03/05

Talkin' Audio Productions has once again secured the P.A. operation and management contract for the Dairy Farmers Stadium. We love being a part of the NRL and are proud to be North Queensland Cowboys supporters.


 

 

 


WAR GAMES - THE EXCHANGE HOTEL 19/02/05

On the 19th of February, The Exchange Hotel played host to a night of Aussie Hip-Hop. The event - dubbed "War Games" - was a screaming success, packing out the up-stairs bar. Local MCs such as The Tippet St Hounds, Buttah (Heat 1 Winner of Channel [ V ]'s "Best Undiscovered MC competition 2005"), Rephlex, ATAK and DJ Backlash entertained the crowd with freestyles, battles and good vibes all night. Talkin' Audio Productions showed their support by donating the door prize for the night, an American Audio turntable. Congratulations to Jess Mazurek, the proud new owner of a HTD 4.5! Stay tuned for "War Games 2".
