RIP Shane Edgley 9/10/08

Shane was a member of Local Townsville band “Plan B”, good friend and colleague of Talkin Audio Productions and owns a television production business “Onset Media” he is a former student of Holy Spirit School, St John Fishes (Marion) School, Ignatius Park and Abergowie college, former employee of NQTV Townsville (TNQ7 where he started work at the age of 16 in 1980), Whitelight Video Productions, Marlo Films Townsville, Mister Minute, Sunshine television / Channel 7 Townsville(7 years), Win Television Bendigo & Shepparton and Channel 10 Townsville. Shane's band credits include playing lead, rhythm and bass guitar, singing vocal and also playing the harmonica. Shane has been in such legendary bands such as 42, Pink Trees, Headfirst, Mr Ed, Virgin on the Ridiculous, Pout and Plan B Shane has just turned 44 years old. Shane leaves behind wife Toni, and children Taylor aged 12 and Liam Aged 9 after loosing his six month battle with Cancer.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! 19/02/08

Talkin Audio Productions recently supplied the audiovisual, lighting and theming for Townsville's "Wedding of the Year". Planned by Cassandra Waples of Out of the Blue Events, Michael and Siobhan Case's fairytale wedding included a designer diamond ring, a five-tier cake, 1500 imported Colombian roses, thousands of fairy lights, $400+ table centrepieces, salsa dancers and of course Guy Sebastian as the nights secret performer!

Townsville Eye February 13th 2008

Townsville! Are you ready for Groovin' the Moo? With over 10 national and international acts; including performances by Sneaky Sound System, The Presets, Spider Bait and Karnivool, this has to be THE biggest festival Townsville has ever seen. Talkin Audio Productions will be supplying the two Ground Support Roofing Systems needed to accommodate an event of this magnitude along with the lighting for the main stages, all the production for the dance stage, toilets and gen sets. Speaking of Ground Support... Talkin Audio Productions will be supplying two Roofing Systems for the Melbourne Leg of the Soundwave 2008 Festival. In other news... Talkin Audio recently made the trek down to Sydney for Entech 2008. It was really great to catch up with all our suppliers, and to get the chance to have a sneak peak at all the new toys 2008 has to offer... Thanks Guys!
